This is how the game began. Melfort received the kick off and graciously threw an interception to set up the first touch down of the game. But the Melfort team was not cooperating a hundred percent, they were instead faced with a well organised and willful defense from Tisdale who after the next kick off were able to turn the ball over a second time with the fumble you see in the two pictures below, taken in sequence.

But the sign of a good football team is not only to let the defense get you the ball, but it is then capitalised upon by a smooth running and varied offense. Turcott (lower right)
