Garage saling

Yesterday I was to three garage/yard sales and came away with a bicycle and two more cups. So, it seemed only natural to go out and check on the sales this morning. By far the biggest one this weekend is a multi-family sale being held in the Hannigans building. With it being a bit cold and ugly this morning it was nice to be inside. Several of the sales were outside and had to deal with little rain showers throughout the morning. It is remarkable what turns up at these sales, from exercise equipment to television sales products to promotional products of one kind or another. Many sales feature the passage of time, children's good from a family growing up, items to lighten the load as a family is moving or downsizing from a house to an apartment or as in the one sale today of the dispersal of a grandmother's collection accumulated through a lifetime.
