New Store Under Construction

FTLComm - Tisdale - May 23, 2002
When Selena Allen and Linda Vachon started their business, Inchworm on main street beside the Scotia Bank their plans were to eventually have their own building. The time has come for that new building to be built.

After the fire that destroyed Mr. Ribs the site was merely temporarily covered over and filled in but before construction can begin on a new building the old foundations and services have to be sorted out. The concrete was removed on Monday (below) and yesterday the water and sewer lines were repaired and the hole backfilled and packed.

The site will be levelled and new piles installed to construct the foundation and concrete pad for the new forty by fifty-six foot structure.

The plans call for the bulding to have a readily identifiable exterior with a large Inchworm atop the building.

Inchworm offering childrens clothing, toys and children's furniture openned its doors in March of 2001 and has found a good market for its products since.
