Tisdale Figure Skating
Country Sizzle

FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, March 18, 2004

One look at the smile on Richelle Fairburn's face (above) tells you that she enjoys what she is doing, every single minute.

This morning with the schools closed for parent teacher interviews Tisdale Figure Skating Club skaters were on the ice putting the final touches on their individual programmes for the weekend skating carnival,
Country Sizzle which is at

7:00 on Saturday night and 1:00 Sunday afternoon.

Tisdale's skating club has a long history of developing fine skaters but this has to be a superior year to the delight of the skaters and parents alike.

Richelle Fairburn picked up a bronze this year in competition but the club also blew their

competition away both in the provinical Synchronised skating competition here in Tisdale and scoring gold at the Western Canada regional competition. The groups all did well but it was the shortest bunch, Frenzie, that were
on their music and showed enthusiasm and sparkle that was far above their ages in intensity.
