A year ago today the article posted on Ensign was "September Rain", it is remarkable that yesterday was a dreary damp day with wind and drizzle throughout the entire day. This is last night's wonderful sunset near Prince Albert as the sun slipped in between the cloud layer and the horizon to depart until it would re-appear in this morning's almost cloudless sky. A larger version of this picture and one other will be posted later this morning as well as some other things that might interest you. Our appologies to those of you who tried to visit Ensign yesterday when server problems occured once again. Our DNS server appears to have an undetermined problem that is very hard to track down and it seems to pick weekends to die.

As the new day began (about 6:30) a hint of high winds aloft herald changes for the people of Manitoba as they elected Garry Doer's NDP folks after twelve years of Garrh Philmen's PCs in yesterday's provincial election. Doer will have a simple majority and Philmon is quitting and perhaps heading to Ottawa.
