To install water and sewer service into a duplex requires twice the digging for a single family dwelling.  The town began the process of installing those services in the new duplex on 95th Street today but were unable to complete the project by the end of the working day.

Though the new media response to the latest flu making its rounds has bordered on hysteria the public health officials across the country have had an opportunity to put into affect the things they learned in the Toronto SARs outbreak. We are all going to benefit from this as public awareness about how airborne infections are spread making our world a safer one.

South of Tisdale the fields seemed littered with tractors parked and hitched to seeding equipment. The slate sky, the threat of more rain or snow, freezing temperatures all seem to have put a damper on this years planting.
