VISITING AND PHONING REPORT

I believe it is important to keep in touch with those who are confined to home or can’t be in Church for various reasons, so since going on the Committee, I have been periodically phoning shut-ins from the Church Family. It seems important to each one to be remembered by the church and it can break the monotony of their long days.

During summer and fall, I have made at least two dozen phone calls to seven senior people, including Ted Lee at St. Brieux, all of whom are members of our Church Family. Ted says that he spends most of his time in a wheel chair. As well, I have made numerous visits to members who are residents at Cedar Villa.

It would be helpful if a Convenor could have the names of members and we could be assigned people to contact.

Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success. It is rewarding for those who make the call too!
