That seemed to me like a very long winter. I was surprised to see mud one day two weeks ago and today it was a relief to begin seeing bits of green grass showing up yet knowing full well that means cutting must soon follow.

Stories of spring at the park as there are rennovations to the beach cafe and water treatment plant, the gold course will open again this year and no news on what will happen to the Cove. But the snow is melting and the water flowing, Gerald likes warm weather.

The challenge of global warming and the preservation of the environment is huge but maybe we need to think of it as solving one problem at a time. Cut down on commuting to work, reduce the size of car engines and tickle the auto's fuel efficiency.
