MEALS ON WHEELS REPORT

In the month of March 2015, St. Paul’s volunteers once again took part in the delivery of meals daily to designated homes. We offer thanks to these people who gave of their time:

PROPERTY COMMITTEE REPORT

  • Furnace room housecleaned as per fire inspector’s recommendation.
  • New filters installed on both furnaces.
  • Sold old mobile central vac unit for $100.00.
  • Annual elevator inspections and permits in order.
  • Annual fire extinguisher inspections in order.
  • Men’s bathroom in lower hall – locking door knob replaced.
  • Sidewalk snow removal generally provided by Prop. Com. (mostly Terry)
  • Elevator shaft water proofed (final coat to be applied in May 2016).
  • Hand rails installed in choir access areas.
  • Furnace room door repaired to properly stay closed as per Fire Regulations.
  • Panic bars installed – at basement entry and choir entry.
  • Emergency exit lighting installed. One unit still on order. Many thanks to Don Dobson, Ken Whiting and John Scott for this work.
  • Church perimeter re-sloped with crusher dust to improve water drainage.
  • Basement hall painted by Ken and Sharon Whiting.
  • Tom Dudar looked after cutting the church lawn.
  • Roof repairs completed in area of new leak.
  • Chupa Trucking continues to attend to snow removal in church parking lot.

In conclusion, it has been a busy year for the Property Committee but much has been accomplished.
