Have Canadian Forces in Afghanistan been pawns?
Monday
August 27, 2007

So much for idealism, it looks like the negotiations that actually were on going prior to September 11, 2001 have kept developing the need for a US owned pipeline to be built across Afghanistan from the Caspian Sea to the Pakistan coast. This evidence is very solid much more so than any shaky reasons given so far for Canadians to be fighting and dying in the Panjwayl and Kandahar areas of Pakistan.
