Tim's Tip of the Day

The practical and demand for us to see the world in a realistic way is adult but it may not be ideal. Kids look at things a lot different and each generation tries to hang on to their childhood realities. There is a place in everyone's life for dreams, idealism and hope. Wednesday
August 4, 2010
by: Timothy W. Shire

Tisdale: A full block of water main is about to be replaced as Tisdale attempts to reduce the number of water breaks by removing cast iron lines and replacing them with plastic. At the present rate this process is expected to take decades to finish the task.

Tisdale: Sunny weather, forest fires in B.C. seems par for the course at this time of the year. Still almost four weeks until school re-opens and time enough to still catch West Nile Virus.

Tisdale: Begun on June 21 this is the first house to be built in what is Tisdale's newest developing part of town. Last year water and sewer services were installed on what will in time become a new street just east of Heritage Road. This is a fairly big house sitting atop a wood basement with a south view.

Tisdale: More showers yesterday added to the difficulty of even destroying the illfated crop of 2010. Fields right around Tisdale are to wet for farmers to work the ruined crop down but in other areas farmers are busy at the task.

Tisdale: These pictures taken over the last few days show the Canola crops in bloom and the awesome forces that trundle through the prairie sky. The accompanyment is "Badaboom" from the sound track of the movie "The Fifth Element" by Eric Serra.
Flowers and a robin

Regina: One evening a week ago Matthew wandered around his Regina yard with camera in hand and collected this interest group of thirty-four images. These images were taken with a Canon Rebel and a telophoto lens. However, the robin was unpreturbed by his picture taking and was about five to six feet away in these pictures. We present these images in a slide show accompanied by Diana Krall's Narrow Daylight from "The Girl in the other room" album.
