Tim's Tip of the Day

Americans are concerned about their supply of influenza vaccine but Canadian health officials said that there is no shortage in Canada. I got my shot today and you should really consider the benefits of this simple precaution. It may not prevent you from getting the flu but if you do it will be milder and you will be less likely to give it to others.

Kevin's find of the day

Gay group challenges Swaggart tax status (pdf)
The Advocate reports that complaints have been filed against pop evangalist Jimmy Swaggart for his comments about gay people
"If one ever looks at me like that, I'm going to kill him and tel God he died."

Ensign Notes

Once again other work took me away from this site. I was unable to finish the post Sunday and then not on Monday either.

A hole lot bigger
Thursday
September 30, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : The edges of the dig have been defined and it looks like the soil removal process was pretty well finished by this afternoon (before the snow) and clean up and refill can begin tomorrow.
Outpost Lacxonton
Thursday
September 30, 2004

Wednesday
September 29, 2004
by : Joe Hueglin
Niagara Falls, Ontario : A country within a country, that's what Joe Hueglin is concerned about as he warns us all about the dangers of Quebec's separate deal with Ottawa over health care and other provincial matters.
Le due Simonette bring joy to Italy and everywhere else there is hope
Wednesday
September 29, 2004
by : Mario deSantis

Town has begun cleanup of soil contamination along highway
Tuesday
September 28, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire

Snow, Blue and an Emperor
Monday
September 27, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale :The annual migration of arctic birds has begun and as it the case every spring and fall they stop off for a week or more in this part of Saskatchewan. Some years farmers are not particularly pleased with them but this year with the value of the crop in the fields being what it is they are just part of the landscape.
The Greenwater Report
Monday
September 27, 2004

Monday
September 27, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert : It is almost a matter of religious faith that if you are able to do more in less time with less resources then you are on your way to profits and economic heaven. This concept is a myth and this article shatters that myth.
REFORM: another word for covering the assets of businesses, experts and politicians
Saturday
September 25, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert : The catch word for modern politicians is "refrom" it seems that they believe that the public will buy a major overhaul of a programme rather than funding or supporting the programme the way it was originally conceived.

Wednesday
September 22, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : The disappointment the new owners of this house must have felt as they have watched for the whole summer, their instant home, dither time away. The simple setting of a foundation and placing of a modular home has consumed the whole summer and laid waste to three residential lots to accomplish this simple project.
