Tim's Tip of the Day

Bush and his corporate backers need to keep control of the US government and what might win the election would be a nice new war with Iran. This would explain the insane attack on the religiously significant Iman Ali Mosque in Najaf. Most of the world's Shite population live in Iran. Being attacked by Iran would take the heat off the unjustifiable war in Iraq.

Kevin's find of the day

Girl, 16 hanged in public in Iran This story appears in Iran Focus but with much more detail on the Amnesty International web site. Her crime was "acts incompatible with chastity" and her judge actually put the noose around her neck. Neka where the hanging took place is a large seaport and reported to be a location of Iran's nuclear research and other heavy industry.
