Perceptions
- Thursday
October 28, 2004
by : Edwin Wallace
Success : Though the Saskatoon Police have issued an apology to the mother of the
teenager Neil Stonechild for having "let the family down" the ripple affect
of this incident will be felt far into the future. The doubt, the lack of trust is
not just a rumor it is now a legal opinion and every need be concerned about their
safety if it involves the Saskatoon Police service.

Tim's Tip of the Day
|

When it comes right down to it there are few things in life as good as a cookie. |
|
Kevin's
find of the day
|
CTV & The Comedy channel,
Wednesday night, Jesse Jackson. The final clip tonight was Jesse and
Jerry Fallwell in a split screen with Jerry saying If it takes ten years to
kill all the terrorists then the President needs to chase them down to all corners
of the world and kill them all - in the name of the Lord.
Gee, what is the root of the problem in the Middle East - payback and retribution....
(goggle: "jerry fallwell + kill them all" to see reactions) |

with SaskTel: need of clarity
- Thursday
October 28, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert
:SaskTel's 2003 annual report goes on page after page dealing with changes to its
accounting procedures and as customers we can see and notice the changes as charges
and the way they are applied seem to alter from bill to bill.

Flea
Market brings out the talented and the clever
- Tuesday
October 26, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Quite
a show. Friday and Saturday Tisdale's craft show and Flea Market that has often been
in the Tisdale Mall was held this year in the RECPLex auditorium with sixty tables
showing off some both the ordinary and the unique.

Poppy Coin
- Monday
October 25, 2004
by : Rebecca Gingrich
Princeton Ontario
: Almost some copyright infringement, it looks like the Canadian mint has sold out
to an American owned business as it flogs coins while tredding on Canadian sentiment
for November 11. The poppy really belongs to Canada's veterans and is not something
that the mint can fiddle with for profit. (update to this story October 27)

Coffee
in the Mall
- Friday
October 22, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : No
one is crying the blues at the Tisdale Mall since the closing of the west
anchor of the operation. Instead the mall businesses have just pulled out the stops
to make the mall shoping experience even better. Tattered Corners has added
coffee to its sales.

The
silver time machine
- Thursday
October 21, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale
: The camera in one form or another has been around for more than a century and
a half and during that time the magic of silver crystals have captured the light
and shadows of the past. In those light and shadows we can find significant evidence
of what once was and what life was like when that light was rendered onto paper,
glass or plastic. (The owner of these images, Tisdale Credit Union
is in full agreement with their appearance on this web site.)

- Today's perception of democracy:
understanding
the economics of whims from the economics of needs
- Tuesday
October 19, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert
: At the heart of this complex story Mr. deSantis is concerned at the awarding of
the Nobel prize for economics to two rather mundaine professors, one in California
and the other in Arizona. The issue of what is better for the world is really what
this is about and with many outstanding references you have the opportunity in this
story to find out some truths for yourself.

- Friday
October 8, 2004
