The Greenwater Report
Thursday
March 3, 2005
by : Gerald Crawford
Greenwater Provincial Park :This the report from February 13 and was lost in the 4270 e-mails that went astray when our server crashed. Gerald tells us about the snowmobile ride for cancer, updates us on the fishing and the marina and relates one of Merv's yarns about a pocket watch.
Bush’s Wishes [BS] versus People’s Needs, that is War versus Peace
Thursday
March 3, 2005
by : Mario desantis
Prince Albert : There is a perverse reality that exists south of the border where excuses become facts and evidence is irrelevant if it does not suit the political agenda.
Young at heart
Thursday
February 24, 2005
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Many people have sung the song but Jimmy Durante's version is the definative one for me. This is a set of pictures from today to accompany this great classic. (this page requires a recent version of QuickTime to display the images and hear the song 2.4MB.)
So what do you think of the budget?
Wednesday
February 23, 2005
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : This is the editor's take on the budget delivered today in Ottawa by "Sir Ralph the Good". An election budget with something for everybody sometime. The question is, is this good for Canada?
Is Belinda Stronach the next leader of the Conservatives, the Liberals, or the NDP?
Tuesday
February 22, 2005
by : Ron Thornton
Edmonton :The House of Commons debate on same sex marriage has become not only a Canadian issue but an international one as the way Canada deals with this issue is being closely watched. Here is another look from the conservative point of view on the issue.
Trojans win last home game of regular season 3 - 2
Monday
February 21, 2005
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Only three games left in the 2004 - 2005 regular season all on the road.
Wheat Pool's demise as a cooperative
Friday
February, 11, 2005
by : Eric Sagan
Melville : The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool passes out of existence as a farmer owned operation signalling its end as an economically viable entity. Eric Sagan wrote this back on January 30 and we just did not get it posted until now, events have passed this milestone but the sentiments expressed are important.
English Teacher in Korea
Friday
February 11, 2005
by : Devon Mason
South Korea : We find out about teaching in Korea but to go along with the story author, Devon Mason has given us 31 exquisite images of Southeast Asia.
The Greenwater Report
Friday
February 11, 2005
by : Gerald Crawford
Greenwater Provincial Park :Digging has begun to dredge out the marina and Gerald is recovering from cataract surgery, no wonder he is having trouble seeing big hay bales on the side of the road. The great snowmobile ride is on and we should see pictures next week.
Parkland Photography Club January 2005

February 10, 2005
by : Gerald Crawford
Greenwater Provincial Park : Theme pictures on "derelict" and news about various competitions for the local photo club.
The Greenwater Report
Thursday
February 10, 2005
by : Gerald Crawford
Greenwater Provincial Park : Sorry about being so late with this report but Gerald reports are never stale as we find out about snow mobiling, how things are going at coffee and how they are about to dig up the marina.
Ensign bites the dust
Wednesday
February 9, 2005

January 26, 2005
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Tisdale's Trojans dominated their opposition Tuesday night as they dance back and forth around the ice and showed the true puck and stick handling capabilities of this remarkable team.
Symphony of Time
Wednesday
January 26, 2005
by : Tracy Kirsch
Regina : This is one of those special things that come along every so often. Ms. Kirsch came up with a concept and moved it into a picture, a sound scape and a text message that blend to tell the story all to familiar to all of us.
Deal with it
Monday
January 24, 2005
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Minus thirty for three weeks then up to 0 to -10º range, floods in B.C. and storm after storm pounding the maritimes. Its just winter let's deal with it.
A glimpse at today’s shameful role of intellectual property rights
Monday
January 24, 2005
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert : This is indeed a glimpse of a much larger problem than it would seem at first. The process of turning everything into "property" of some sort was originally intended to benefit the few who produced what ever property they were intending to "own". The problem is this process has backfired and is resulting in intellectual, economic and social stagnation choking the life out of the society it was intended to protect.
