Nipawin: Brian explains some more details about the explosion and fire that rocked the community and his mother captured some pictures of the event moments after the explosion occured taken from the bacloney of her condo nearby.

Nipawin: About 10:45 it is believed a ruptured gas main exploded killing a back hoe operator and injuring at least six others as the explosion and resulting fire erased a meat shop, small dinner and some vehicles on the street.

Nipawin: SaskWater officials were measuring the flow of water on the highway 35 bridge south of Nipawin this afternoon well aware that Environment Canada had warned of percipitation throughout this weekend which would greatly affect already high water levels.

Tisdale: Each year in a matter of a couple of days the RECPlex arena in Tisdale is transformed from a hockey rink to a rodeo ring as the ice went out yesterday and the dirt hauled in and spread today the actual rodeo hardware was being put in place.
