Tisdale: Last night the Trojans clipped the Saskatoon Blazers 5 - 2 as they simply out played the excellent Saskatoon team. Tisdale's outstanding disciplined play and attention to systematic play development makes them a formidable hockey team.

Blind pilot guided to land by RAF
Mr. O'Neill who took off with a Cessna from Scotland suffered a stroke on his way to Colchester Essex and lost his sight. He issued a "may-day" and an RAF pilot flew up to him and guided him safely to a runway.

Tisdale: Tisdale is a significant distance from the conventional oil and gas fields that are strung out across the whole of southern Saskatchewan yet today here is a oil field service unit with a very specialised purpose stopped off in Tisdale on its way to a job site. A reader found a suggestion why this truck was in the area.
