Friday
September 26, 2008
by:Eugene Parks
Victoria B.C.: The media and the politicians themselves sometimes reduce politics to a sort of game but the people we choose to represent us have to make vital decisions. Decisions that can kill people or save lives. Mr. Parks takes a dim view of the way the current prime minister has carried out his duties.

Tim's Tip of the Day

Kevin's find of the day

Father of the internet: 'web is running out of addresses'
Every device connected to the internet is assigned a distinctive number. The original 4.2 trillion numbers have all but 14% been assigned and the originator of the Internet, Vint Cerf has proposed the adoption of a bigger address system moving from 32 binary digits to 128.

Canadian productivity
Friday
September 26, 2008
by:Dale Swirsky
Winnipeg: Canada has the enormous potential to be truly an outstanding country in which to live and work. Unfortunately some of our politicians do not share a view of the country as a whole but only of their vested interest or ideology. At this election we need to consider anybody but the conservatives.

Rather a good leader, than a "strong leader"
Friday
September 19, 2008
by:Casper Davis

Will Canada support US invasion of Pakistan?
Tuesday
September 16, 2008
by: Joe Hueglin
Niagara Falls, Ontario: Locked into the war in Afghanistan Canada is obliged to toe the line as directed by the United States. Canada: Peace Maker and Paramedic
Tuesday
September 9, 2008
by: Joe Hueglin
Niagara Falls, Ontario: Not even in World War I was Canada to give over its control over its own forces and submit to the policies of other nations, yet the Harper government has essentially made the Canadian Armed Forces part of the US National Guard.
