IIf you are going to own and drive a motor vehicle keep its maintenance right up to the highest standard. Your life and everyone else who shares the road depends on safe vehicles and driving a vehicle with a bent fender or missing bumper tells you that the driver doesn't care.

Rail plan not up to speed
Both US and Canadian governments are big on talk about high speed rail systems but they are both putting their money into bankrupt car makers. Canada and the US each at one time had functioning passenger rail systems and still need them.

Crooked River:
Only 4 3/4 inches in length these characters dash from limb to limb on your trees. But they do a lot of other dashing as well. They spend the winter in Mexico and as far south as Venezuela then make their way all the way up to the Yukon but also nest here in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Montana.

Crooked River:
These remarkably brightly coloured birds net east of the Rockies and usually on the great central plains, though seen occassionally this far north the numbers seen this year is an indicator of a shift in their nesting grounds to push a little further north than usual.

We are actually up to eleven housing project currently underway in Tisdale but we wait until the walls start to go up before we do the story on the new project. House it is the second housing start on the new cul-de-sac, it started a few days after what will be house #7 but is the first of the two to have some walls standing.

The former President of the United States was the first person to hold that position and have a masters degree in business administration. All four seasons in one week have put all Saskatchewan people to the test but Gerald has discovered some exotic yellow flowers and even weeds growing in some Saskatoon lawns. The Crawfords have a new patio and a fuse problem resolved problems with the motor home. But life stands still for garage sales.

Recession or no recession Saskatchewan is about the annual crop that gets planted and how it progresses until it is harvested. This year's crop is mostly planted and right in the Tisdale immediate area the crop is emerging from the grown to begin its preductive life.

To install water and sewer service into a duplex requires twice the digging for a single family dwelling.  The town began the process of installing those services in the new duplex on 95th Street today but were unable to complete the project by the end of the working day.

Both CN and CP had trains rolling through Tisdale this morning. The CP train was more than a mile long mix of loaded grain block and a good number of hemical cars. The four units had a tough time getting little more than 30kph.

In front of a newly dug basement on the new cul-de-sac where the new water and sewer lines were installed only months ago, the town dug up the brand new fire hydrant and began making repairs to a line that has never been used.
